Survey success
Staff and residents at White Rock’s Evergreen Baptist Care Home are celebrating the successful survey of the facility’s operations, programs and practices by Accreditation Canada.
The survey is a comprehensive review of all aspects of the operations based on national standards of excellence.
Evergreen announced the results Jan. 13.
This is the fourth time Evergreen has achieved a successful accreditation survey.
Board chair Rick Townsend congratulated the leadership team and staff at Evergreen for their commitment to quality programs and initiatives.
“When the surveyors completed the audit they told us we passed their ‘Grandma Test,’ which means they wouldn’t hesitate to have their own grandmother live in our home, and that speaks volumes,” he said.
