Envision hires new VP

South Surrey resident Loree Gray has been hired as Envision Financial’s vice-president of Retail Banking.

In that role, Gray will be responsible for the financial performance, leadership and overall strategic direction of Envision's retail operations.

Gray has more than two decades of experience in the financial-services industry, and most recently held the position of vice-president, B.C. district, at a chartered bank. There she was responsible for overseeing 28 branches and 495 employees throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Gray also spent 18 years at another large Canadian financial institution, where she started in the branch and progressively worked her way up to senior management positions.

“Loree has a wealth of experience in leading regional sales teams and improving the member experience,” said Envision president Bev Brown. “I’m confident that her strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge will benefit our staff, our organization and our members.”

Gray holds a Bachelor of Arts from UBC and is certified with the Institute of Canadian Bankers and the Canadian Securities Institute, and was previously certified with the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning. She lives in South Surrey with her husband and two children.
