Wellness retreat
The eighth annual Every Woman – co-founded by Olympic athlete and local resident Lynn Kanuka – is returning to Whistler May 13 to 15.
Planned for the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, the event is meant to connect, support and motivate women of all ages, shapes and sizes to be active through fitness and wellness workshops.
There are to be more than 70 workshops on subjects ranging from yoga and African dancing to financial planning and stress relief. Speakers on a variety of topics will also be featured.
Proceeds from a silent auction will benefit women from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
