Coffee for camp
Surrey Tim Hortons locations will join branches across Canada and the U.S. June 1 to promote Camp Day, when every penny from coffee sales helps send thousands of kids on the adventure of a lifetime.
Proceeds will benefit the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, which is to send more than 14,000 children – who could otherwise not afford it – to one of its six camps.
All children who attend are selected from within the communities where Tim Hortons restaurants are located.
Selected children, between the ages of nine and 12, attend the 10-day summer or seven-day winter camp.
Last year, Camp Day raised more than $9.7 million.
