Charity garage sale

Storage for Your Life is inviting the community to join them at their Surrey location June 18 for their ninth annual Charity Garage Sale.

Abandoned furniture, household goods and other items collected throughout the year will be sold by donation.

In addition, tenants of Storage for Your Life will be able to sell their own unwanted items by renting a table.

All proceeds from admission, table rentals and the sale of goods and refreshments are to benefit Save the Children Canada.

Last year’s sale raised more than $1,600, and an even bigger turnout is expected this year.

“It is our community that makes this event a success,” Storage for Your Life owner and founder Jay Lynne Fleming said in a release.

The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 13498 73 Ave.
