Community garden launched
A new community garden has sprouted up among the flowers and outdoor patios that currently populate nearly 45,000 square feet of space at the Summit House at Morgan Crossing development.
Earlier this summer, a “village green” was installed, where condo residents can grow their own food and flowers.
In addition, the outdoor space also includes a barbecue area, greenhouse and numerous flower gardens.
“We’ve seen the success of this feature in certain condo developments in Vancouver,” said Cam Good, president of TheKey.com, the real estate firm now selling units at Summit House.
“(Summit House) decided to prioritize outdoor living for its residents, providing the first community garden in a condo development in the South Surrey area.”
