Festive night planned for Morgan Crossing

The Shops at Morgan Crossing will welcome Santa to South Surrey on Dec. 1.

HGTV host Sarah Daniels will MC the evening festivities, which include the lighting of the inaugural Forest of Light, free holiday crafts, live entertainment, holiday train rides, storytelling, festive treats and goodies.

Representatives from 18 of the local charities and foundations highlighted in the Forest of Light will be on hand to illuminate the forest – an interactive display to profile community partners – and welcome Santa at 6 p.m. at the clock tower near Winners. Photos with Santa will be available by donation.

The Shops at Morgan Crossing is located at 24 Avenue and Croydon Drive.
