Chamber donates $1,000 to Sources Food Bank
The Sources White Rock South Surrey Food Bank has $1,000 more to buy food staples for its many needy clients after a donation from the South Surrey and White Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber president Gary Hollick and executive director Cliff Annable presented Sources Community Resource Centre’s David Young with a cheque for the amount on Aug. 7. The contribution represents part of the proceeds from the chamber’s golf tournament, which was held in May.
