Santa to stop by Forest of Light fundraiser

Santa will drop by for an early visit Thursday (Nov. 29) when The Shops at Morgan Crossing at 24 Avenue and Croydon Drive welcomes the season with its annual Forest of Light fundraiser.

The village and clock tower near Winners will light up at 6 p.m.

Santa will be there. So will the holiday train. And visitors will be able to take part in holiday crafts, and immerse themselves in story telling, live music and entertainment.

There will be 18 trees decorated by nonprofit agencies, charities and other organizations.

Photos of the trees will be posted on The Shops at Morgan Crossing’s  Facebook page (facebook.com/theshopsatmorgancrossing) and donations will be raised through the number of “likes” each photo receives.
