Girls night planned
Tickets are on sale now for the Soroptimist International Club of White Rock’s Fourth Annual Girl’s Night Out Purse Auction.
The Jan. 29 event is to feature more than 60 purses auctioned off live at the ULounge in South Surrey’s Grandview Corners. There will also be goody bags for sale and a 50/50 draw.
The purses will be available for viewing starting at 5:30 p.m.; the auction is set to get underway at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Soroptimist’s ReSTART program, which provides kits of new household items to women who are leaving transition houses.
