New play area opened

Semiahmoo Shopping Centre  has added a new component for its littlest shoppers.

The mall now has a new Kidzone play area, located in the food court.

The unsupervised play area features a 15-feet-high “super castle” with a slide and tunnel, as well as other climbing play pieces.

As well as creating a colourful and fun space, the mall has taken steps to ensure safety, with play pieces made of sculpted soft foam and floor safety tiles made of recycled tires.
