New fun at Camp Alex
Alexandra Neighbourhood House will be offering a number of new programs, as well as some returning favourites, for the month of February.
New activities include a walking group which meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Alex House office at 9:30 a.m. and a weekly knitting group, which meets Mondays at 10 a.m.
For spring break, Alex House will be holding Play Away Spring Break Day Camps March 18-28 for school-aged children.
Cost runs between $120-150 a week and includes snacks.
For younger children, programs available at Alex House include Explore With Me – an interactive program for parents/caregivers and children, aged 15 months to five years – and the new Mother Goose program, kicking off in the middle of the month.
For those with children under one year, Alex House offers a six-session Mommy and Me program, beginning Feb. 14. For more information about registration, visit www.alexhouse.net
