Women in Business award winners honoured
On Wednesday, March 13, the Surrey Board of Trade hosted the fourth annual Surrey Women in Business Awards luncheon. he sold-out event recognized the hard work of Surrey’s businesswomen and their contributions to Surrey.
Master of Ceremonies Steve Darling of Global TV BC led the afternoon’s program and kept guests laughing. Keynote Speaker Rebecca Legge of Canada Wide Media Limited shared her success story with the audience. Excitement was obvious throughout the room as winners were announced in five categories.
The winners are:
Entrepreneur Category: Jill Martyniuk, Romancing the Home
Professional Category: Christine Trischuk, Christine Trischuk Consultants
Corporate/Leadership Category: Peggy White, Guildford Town Centre
Innovator Category: Wendy Bollard, Peninsula Productions Society
Not-for-Profit Leader Category: Christiana Flessner, Canadian Wheelchair Foundation
