Career fair for immigrants

A free career, education and settlement fair for immigrants is coming to Vancouver Dec. 16.

The Immigrant Expo, presented by Canadian Immigrant magazine and Scotiabank, will take place at the Vancouver Public Library, 360 West Georgia St., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Various exhibitor booths will be located in the main promenade and lower-level rooms of the library, featuring information about colleges, training, settlement resources and careers/employers, as well as speakers and interactive workshops.
