A hearing into securities-related allegations against a former White Rock businesswoman has been set for two days in Vancouver.

According to a notice issued by the Mutual Fund Dealers Association, the hearing regarding Penny Diann Deming is to take place June 4 and 5, at a to-be-announced venue.

It will be open to the public.

Disciplinary proceedings against Deming – founder of SHE Financial Group Inc. – were announced in December, alleging violations of the MFDA’s bylaws, rules or policies.

The activities in question allegedly took place between May 2010 and November 2011, while Deming was a registered mutual-fund salesperson with Worldsource Financial Management Inc.

Deming, who now resides in Mexico, has denied all of the allegations.
