Get spooked at library
Halloween is creeping up on us and White Rock Library has many activities planned for children.
Creepy Crafts and Spooky Tales is happening Oct. 24, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Children can listen to some spooky tales and make Halloween crafts just in time for the frightful night.
Children will also be able to enjoy Halloween stories, fingerplays and a puppet show at Happy Halloween Storytime, taking place at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 31.
Participants are encouraged to dress up in their favourite Halloween costumes for the occasion.
The events, unlike the festivities, don’t stop after Halloween. Nov. 8-29, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. each Thursday, White Rock Library will host Van Gogh and Friends, where children can learn about many famous artists and create art in a similar style.
Registration is underway for Creepy Crafts and Spooky Tales. Registration for Van Gogh and Friends starts Oct. 25.
