Showing their hearts
White Rock firefighters showed a lot of heart when they rode across Canada last summer, raising more than $70,000 for Variety the Children’s Charity.
This month, they hope to further boost the charity’s coffers, as they take a seat at the Heroes Panel during Variety’s Show of Hearts Telethon.
The Shore2Shore crew is slotted to man the panel from 8-10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13.
The telethon airs live starting 7 p.m. Feb. 12, and will wrap up at 6 p.m. Feb. 13. Last year, it raised more than $7.4 million.
