Paying tribute
The public is encouraged to submit nominations for the 2011 Order of British Columbia, the province’s highest recognition of individuals’ excellence and lifetime achievements.
Since 1990, more than 300 British Columbians have received the Order, including White Rock First Nations artist Robert Davidson.
Deadline for nominations is March 10 at 5 p.m. Nomination forms are available from the Honours and Awards Secretariat in Victoria (250-356-7916), the Order of British Columbia website (www.orderofbc.gov.bc.ca).
