Dance for heart health
All proceeds from a professional show of dancing, plus dance demonstrations at White Rock’s Arthur Murray Dance Studio tonight (Friday) at 7 p.m. will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C.
It’s a cause close to the heart of studio owners Dawn and Grant O’ Kane – their daughter Isabella had to have open heart surgery when she was less than one month old to repair transposition of her greater arteries.
Now a healthy five-year-old, Isabella will dance a demonstration swing number with her father at the event, Grant promises.
