Taste of charity
The Rotary Club of Surrey is to host its annual Rotary Food and Wine Celebration next month.
The April 30 event – planned for 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Central City Mall in Surrey – is to feature live music, a fashion show, tastings from 19 wineries and offerings from craft breweries and restaurateurs.
Proceeds will go towards a patient resource centre at the BC Cancer Agency next to Surrey Memorial Hospital.
The Rotary Club of Surrey has committed $50,000 for the centre.
