Plants donated by local gardeners will be available for purchase to the public during an upcoming Plant Sale benefiting South Fraser Women’s Services Society.

The May 7 event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the society’s centre, 15318 20 Ave., and will include refreshments and local beeswax candles for sale.

Anyone wishing to donate more plants can bring them to the centre Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., prior to the sale.

Proceeds will help support the society’s many free programs and services.
