All the write stuff
Surrey Public Library has organized a series of workshops for youth interested in honing their writing schools.
Open to youth aged 12 years and older, the workshops will be held at the Fleetwood Library (15996 84 Ave.) from 10:30 a.m. to noon on July 9, 16, 23 and 30. Through hands-on activities, interactive exercises and some instruction, participants will learn about writing with impact, creating believable characters, pacing, creating conflict, proofreading and editing.
Funded the Rotary Club of Surrey, the workshops will be led by author Lorna T. Suzuki.
