Garden club to host show
Aspiring and veteran gardeners are invited to check out the South Surrey Garden Club this week, during the Annual Flower and Vegetable Show.
Flowers, fruit and veggies will be on display at St. Marks Anglican Church hall, at 12953 20 Ave., during the club’s June 22 meeting, set for 7:30 p.m.
There will also be photographic and baking entries, organizers say.
The club meets at the church on the fourth Wednesday of every month, except August and December. For information on the program, including speakers, field trips and workshops, contact David Broomhead at 604-533-1142 or
