Learning about faith
An interfaith children’s camp for children entering Grades 1 to 6 will be offered Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
The camp – held daily from 9 a.m. to noon – will allow children to explore five faith traditions present in the community.
Using their five senses, children will learn about First Nations, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism and Christianity.
The camp is a joint project between the Surrey Neighbouring Faiths Program, Multifaith Action Society and Northwood United Church.
Space is limited, and registration is due Aug. 12. For more information, contact Northwood United Church or David Dalley at davidanderin@dalley.ca or 604-502-8661.
