Testing the waters
As sun-seekers flock to White Rock Beach for yet another beautiful, warm day last weekend, Surrey resident Kevin Joy – an avid skateboarder and snowboarder – tries his hand at paddleboarding in the choppy waters of Semiahmoo Bay. The boards were made available for free last Saturday to beachgoers willing to take a stab at the surface-water sport.
