Showcasing family history
The Cloverdale Library is to host its third annual Family History Show and Tell Nov. 5 at the 5642 176A St. facility.
The 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. event is an opportunity for those who document their family history to showcase what they’ve created to honour their ancestors.
In the past, participants have brought in such items as quilts, scrapbooks, storyboards and digital collages. Those wanting to share a single artefact are also welcome. Individuals may speak to their project or simply display them on a table. A laptop with Internet and a projector will be available for those wanting to demonstrate online projects.
Everyone is welcome. Those planning to share or display projects are asked to pre-register at 604-598-7328 or familyhistory@surrey.ca
