Historic cars
Up to 120 antique English vehicles are expected to descend on White Rock next month, during the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.
The Nov. 6 event, which commemorates the 1896 Motor Car Tour to Brighton, follows a route of similar distance to the historic tour – 54 to 60 miles – and ends at White Rock’s East Beach.
The first car heads out from Burnaby’s B.C. Society of Railroad Engineers Clubhouse at 9 a.m. A festival with music and activities is planned for the end of the ride.
