Kwantlen coat drive

Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s second annual coat drive is underway.

Through Dec. 16, KPU’s President’s Ambassadorial Team is co-ordinating donations of coats benefitting clients of the Front Room, a drop-in shelter in Surrey, and the Langley Boys & Girls Club.

The community is encouraged to help make this winter warmer for someone less fortunate by dropping off new or gently used coats, at drop boxes located in all Kwantlen libraries: Cloverdale (5500 180 St.), Langley (20901 Langley Bypass), Richmond (8771 Lansdowne Rd.) and Surrey (12666 72 Ave.). Bake sales will be held for the purchase of new gloves, toques, socks and underwear for the two organizations.
