Writing competition kicks off in White Rock
Friends of the White Rock Library have launched their 2012 creative writing competition.
Open to writers of all ages, cash prizes ($200, $125 and $75) will be awarded for the top three submissions.
Stories may be any genre or style, however, all entries must begin with the phrase, "Hidden under the rock…" and must not exceed 2,050 words.
Deadline to enter is Aug. 1. Submissions (must include three copies, a separate cover letter and a $10 entry fee) may be dropped off or mailed to: Writing Contest, Friends of the White Rock Library c/o White Rock Library, 15342 Buena Vista Ave., V4B 1Y6.
