Model students raise money for dry grad

EMS-gradfashionshow.jpg

More than 80 Earl Marriott Secondary students will be walking the runway March 1 as part of the school's annual grad fashion show, proceeds of which support the school's dry grad event.

The event is supported by a handful of local businesses, which supplied clothing as well as hair and makeup services for the one-day show.

In addition to students walking the red carpet, the event will include a balloon-popping event for prizes, a raffle, 50/50 draw and silent auction. Among prizes up for grabs are Canucks and BC Lions tickets, and a sushi dinner for 20.

Tickets to the event are $20 each and are sold in advance, with remaining tickets – if any are left – available at the door. For tickets, email emsgradfashionshow@hotmail.com or call Nathalie Laroche at 778-865-0855.
