Library hosts photo contest for teens

Fraser Valley Regional Library is inviting teens to snap to it and enter the FVRL Picture This photo contest.

Timed to celebrate Teen Tech Week, the contest offers prizes including an iPad and $100 Best Buy gift cards.

Open to teens aged 13 to 19 years who have FVRL cards and live or work in a community that the library system serves, the contest "allows teens to engage with the library through technology and through our Facebook page," FVRL information services librarian Jo-Ann Sleiman said.

Participants may submit up to five photos. Winners will be chosen April 6 by a panel of FVRL staff and guest judges, with winning photos published on FVRL's Facebook page and announced on Twitter.

The contest runs March 5-31. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/FraserValleyLibrary
