Peace Arch Hospital gala almost sold out
An annual gala in support of Peace Arch Hospital is all-but-sold-out, but organizers say there is still plenty of opportunity for those interested in getting involved to participate.
Set for Saturday, May 12 at White Rock's Centennial Arena, the National Bank Financial Partners in Caring Gala has sponsorship, auction donation and volunteer opportunities available.
In its 23rd year, the gala has raised more than $2.4 million for PAH to date – funds that "would not have been raised without the incredibly generous support of many individuals and businesses in our community,” Jackie Smith, executive director of Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation, said in a statement.
This year, proceeds from the gala will benefit the hospital's emergency department. The arena will be transformed to recall Paris in the 1920s.
