White Rock volunteer group recruiting new members
The White Rock Lioness Club is looking for women interested in taking an active part in the "civic, cultural, social and moral welfare" of their community.
Associated with the Lions Club, the Lioness Club supports many local charities including Atira Women's Resource Society, B.C. Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund, Semiahmoo House, Peace Arch Hospital, Whale House among others.
This June, the club will have been active in White Rock for 25 years.
They meet the first Monday of every month at the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club at 11 a.m.
