A recent Earl Marriott Secondary graduate has received a hefty financial boost to her education plan.

Elizabeth Burger was awarded a $20,000 Provost’s Scholarship to attend Trinity Western University for the upcoming fall.

The White Rock resident was an active member of the theatre department while at EMS and plans to pursue a theatre degree at the university.

Provost Scholarships are awarded annually to the top academic students of the incoming first-year class.
