Alex House to screen pipeline movie
Alexandra Neighbourhood House will host a screening of On the Line – a video by Frank Wolf and Todd McGowan as they hiked, biked, rafted and kayaked the route of the Northern Gateway Pipeline – Aug. 2 at 8 p.m.
Through the voices of people they meet along the way, Wolf and McGowan's rough-and-tumble journey details the risks and consequences associated with the $5.5 billion dollar mega-project.
Alexandra Neighbourhood House is located at 2916 McBride Ave. in Crescent Beach. Those who cannot attend but are interested in making a submission to the Joint Panel Advisory board on the project, may find more information online.
The deadline for submissions is Aug. 31.
