Stewart Farm to open new exhibit
The Historic Stewart Farm is kicking off the fall season with a new exhibit exploring the revival of the pioneer kitchen garden and culinary history – from seed selection to harvesting.
From Field to Table will feature family-friendly activities including a heritage garden tour and talk and a cooking demonstration.
Participants will be able to explore the world of fruit growing with the BC Fruit Testers and master gardeners, as well as explore the historic farm’s grounds.
The exhibit opens at the farm, located at 13723 Crescent Rd., Sept. 15 from noon to 4 p.m. and is open to all ages.
