Horticulture in focus during latest exhibit

White Rock Museum & Archives is hosting a series of free horticulture presentations for their latest exhibit.

Science As Art: Botanical Illustrations of Canadian Tree Fruit Varieties will run until March 16 and features 10 watercolour paintings by Kelowna artist Joanne Beaulieu.

In addition to the display, local horticultural organizations, such as Darts Hill Garden Park, Alexandra Community Garden and Derry’s Orchard and Nursery, the museum is also offering free garden presentations including a discussion on sustainability and invasive species presented by Celeste Paley on Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.
