The annual Semiahmoo Rotary Charity Golf Tournament will mark its 25th anniversary on June 11 at Hazelmere Golf and Country Club.

To date, the popular event has brought in more than $1.4 million for the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation and local community projects.

This year, there will be a number of unique additions to mark the milestone, including an opportunity to meet television sportscaster Jay Janower, as well as a Texas Hold-em Poker for the first 100 golfers who sign up.

Since 1989, Semiahmoo Rotary has contributed nearly $800,000 to hospital needs, including patient care, surgical and medical equipment – including a pediatric surgical microscope, patient lifts and cardiac equipment – as well as renovations and the maternity birthing room.

For more information about the annual golf tournament, visit www.semiahmoorotary.org/golf or contact Stewart Peddemors at stewartp@remax.net or 604-329-6759.
