Golf for Vigilant

Registration is underway for the local marine rescue team’s annual golf tournament.

In its 10th year, the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue 5’s Golf for Vigilant is set for June 19 at Hazelmere Country Club, 18150 8 Ave.

Highlights include hole-in-one prizes, a putting contest, 50/50 draw and trophies.

The entry fee ($175) covers green fees, a power cart, dinner and winners’ trophies.

Proceeds support RCMSAR5’s efforts to keep local waters safe. The unit is comprised of volunteers and relies on community support.
