MuchMo' Band brings Motown sound

Got a yen for the sound of Motown?

The Peninsula-based MuchMo' Band brings the rhythm of classic Motown-era hits to the local scene with flair in dynamic live performances.

Next opportunity to dance to MuchMo' is the band's upcoming show March 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Crescent Branch 240 (2643 128 St.)

The enlarged band, featuring local musical stalwarts Pete Tennant, Gordon Brown, Ched Miller, Rosie Miller and Diane Cadieux, plus the wailing sax of Tony Gallo, will be joined by special guests Lois Stewart, Steve Hovan and Frisco Read.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, available at the legion or Tapestry Music, 1335 Johnston Rd.
