SENIORS' SCENE: Excursions and more

There are many fabulous spring excursions to sign up for.

Visit Richmond Gateway Theatre on April 15 and enjoy a comedic production of The Grandkids; take a cultural stroll though Ambleside Park and West Vancouver’s Senior Centre on April 30; or relish the expressive creativity of two Vancouver dance companies at the Scotia Bank Dance Centre on May 29.

If you are looking to shape up after a quiet winter, sign up for a class that will keep you motivated.

Line dancing is a great way to meet people and get moving.

Courses begin March 31; routines are choreographed to popular country, Latin and Celtic music. No partner is necessary.

Middle Eastern dancing begins March 10 and is a gentle-paced, fun-filled class for ladies who are looking to build flexibility and enhance cardiovascular fitness.

Stay centered by participating in the Walking Qi-Gong course which teaches basic meditative walking and breathing techniques.
