Four youth on crime tear in Surrey
Four youth went on a tear of violence and crime Tuesday morning and are now in police lock-up as a result.
While at a party at 1 a.m., the quad of youths aged 14 to 16 violently assaulted someone at a residence in the City Centre area.
They left the home, and robbed a convenience store an hour later.
Surrey RCMP apprehended the group a short while later in a stolen car with an undisclosed amount of cash, cigars and cigarettes.
The young crew are currently in police custody and an investigation is ongoing.
All the youths are well known to police.
Anyone with information who has not already spoken to police is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS if you wish to remain anonymous.
