Alleged Surrey attacker turns himself in
Kenneth Nolan Kirton, a 45-year-old Surrey man, has turned himself in to police. He was the subject of a media release by the VPD on March 4th.
He was wanted in connection with a violent assault on a 73-year-old female relative.
Police believe Nolan entered the home of a 73-year-old woman in the 1500 block of Adanac Street on Sunday about 3:30 a.m.
The senior was stabbed several times, then the man fled the apartment. The woman was able to make her way to a neighbour’s apartment to call 911. She is now recovering in hospital.
Kirton was wanted on a warrant for attempted murder, robbery and failing to comply with an undertaking. He is known to police and often frequents the Downtown Eastside.
