Car knocks down power pole
A car collided with a hydro pole in Newton on the weekend, knocking the power pole down.
On Sunday morning at about 8:30, a black Infinity SUV was heading down 88 Avenue near 148 Street when it smashed into two fences and sheared a power pole.
When police arrived, the vehicle had been vacated. Witnesses said they saw two people leaving the scene on foot.
Police are looking for the occupants of that vehicle.
