Missing South Surrey student located

A 13-year-old boy reported missing near Earl Marriott Secondary in South Surrey Wednesday has been located and is safe, police say.

An appeal for public assistance was issued Thursday afternoon. The teen was located later that evening.

Police thanked the public and media for their assistance.
