Woman sentenced to 30 days for White Rock theft
A woman who allegedly kicked two police officers in the course of her arrest was sentenced Friday to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to theft under $5,000.
Dzenana Kljajlic, 35, was also given a one-year probation for the Oct. 1 incident.
Const. Janelle Shoihet said Kljajlic was arrested in connection with the theft of a bottle of wine from the Sandpiper Liquor Store.
Two officers responding to the call reported being kicked during the course of an arrest, one of them in the face and upper arm.
Assault charges were stayed.
