White Rock cat fight ends in arrest
A 68-year-old White Rock man is facing charges after a dispute between neighbours regarding a cat escalated.
Const. Janelle Shoihet said the incident occurred in the 1400-block of Foster Street on Jan. 17.
It began as a verbal dispute over one man’s cat, and ended with a 57-year-old man getting sprayed with bear spray.
Patrice Larouche appeared in Surrey Provincial Court Wednesday and is due back on March 6, on charges of assault with a weapon and “possessing weapon for dangerous purpose.”
