White Rock RCMP are reminding citizens to be vigilant in securing their homes and vehicles, following a series of recent break-ins.

Const. Shaileshni Molison said Tuesday police have responded to three residential break-ins in the past month. The latest occurred Sunday (April 6) in the 15700-block of Thrift Avenue.

Officers canvassed area residents to determine if anyone had seen or heard anything suspicious.

According to a police report, the culprit or culprits broke into the home through a back door and stole jewelry – the same item targeted in the two previous incidents.

Molison said police investigation includes efforts to determine if the crimes are linked.

Each occurred when no one was home. None of the items taken have been recovered.

Anyone with information is asked to call the White Rock detachment at 778-593-3600.
