Union, City of White Rock schedule talks

Mediated talks have been scheduled between the City of White Rock and the union representing city employees.

City spokesperson Shannon Levesque said the two sides announced the news at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The talks are scheduled for Thursday.

Unionized workers began job action on May 1. It escalated to a full-scale strike on Monday (May 12).
