Man dies after being stabbed in Surrey

A 39-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds in basement of a home in the 9300-block of 132 Street around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

He was rushed to Royal Columbian Hospital, where he later died.

Police took the suspect in the stabbing, a 29-year-old man, into custody at the scene

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said the two men were friends and co-workers and got into an argument, which led to the stabbing.
